I'm Kate Herbert. I build AI systems that take the boring, forgettable admin off an ADHD brain and hand it to Claude instead. I built the first one for my own inbox, on a Sunday, long before it was a guide anyone could buy. This page is who I am, how I make this stuff, and the one number I can actually prove.
who built this
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 39, mid-perimenopause, with two kids. The extra gear that used to drag me through a messy week had quietly stopped working. Admin piled up. Subscriptions renewed without me noticing. Replies sat half-written for weeks, then months.
I wasn't after another app to manage. I'd tried those. I have a graveyard of them, all abandoned by week three, each one requiring me to remember to open it — which is the exact thing I'd lost. What I wanted was something that came to me. On a schedule. Without needing to be checked or maintained or kept up with.
That turned into the first system. Then the second. Then the guide.
I've built and sold businesses before this one. I mention it for one reason: it makes the story worse, not better. Knowing how to read a P&L doesn't stop you paying for a meditation app you opened twice in 2024. I'd already tried the thing where you try harder. It lost.
the real story
Bonus Brain didn't start as a fifteen-page guide and three prompts. It started with me, mid-week, looking at an inbox I couldn't face and a bank statement I didn't want to open.
The fix wasn't a better list. It was handing over the remembering itself — to something that reads, drafts, and reports back on a schedule whether or not I show up for it. Push, never pull. Everything else grew out of that.
the proof, run on my own account
I don't publish a number I haven't watched land.
Here's the one I'll stand behind. I ran the Renewal Sentry, one of the systems in the guide, on my own account. It found AU$267 a month in subscriptions I'd stopped using — about US$173, since I'm billed in Australian dollars. That's AU$3,204 a year. Canceling took about ten minutes once I could see the whole list in one place, which is the part that had never happened before.
One inbox, 60 days, thirteen recurring charges. I've pixelated the names that are personal or somebody else's business — every amount is exactly as it came back. The three struck through are the ones I cancelled.
I'm not claiming your account turns up the same figure. Inboxes vary wildly. This is one run, mine, and it's the one I can show you. As more real runs come in I'll add them here rather than round this one up or borrow somebody else's number.
what "tested live" means
Every prompt in the guide has been run start to finish on a real Claude account before it ships. Not written into the documentation and assumed to work.
Every factual claim on this site — the price, what Claude's connectors can and can't do, what a system actually finds — gets checked against a single internal claims file before it goes near a page. When something isn't verified yet, I mark it missing instead of filling the gap with a confident guess.
That's slower to write to. It's also the only reason a page like this deserves to be believed, on a topic where confident guessing is basically the house style.
